Hjordkær School is seeking a support person for our fantastic school. We are looking for an educator for a combined position in both the School and the after‑school program (SFO) as soon as possible. The support position in the school is 15 hours, contingent on the duration of the task, while the SFO position is fixed at 15 hours. That is, a total of 30 hours.

About Hjordkær School

We are a lovely school right in the heart of Hjordkær town with 248 pupils from 0th to 9th grade. We place great emphasis on combining academic excellence with a nice and safe environment for both children and adults. The school has a great diversity in the student population, which we see as a strength and an opportunity for development. We focus on a good and positive tone of interaction, and we meet the children with an appreciative and resource‑oriented approach. Our SFO accommodates about 85 pupils and is a nice place to be with simple rules and clear boundaries.

About you

We are looking for an educator to develop and support the students through their general schooling. The task will be to support the learning environment in a 3rd grade class, and the duties may include

• being a close and secure adult contact
• providing support in the learning environment
• creating learning environments for small groups from the class
• assisting students with academic and personal development.

When the school day ends, the task will move from supporting the school section to a position in the SFO for all SFO children. We value commitment, reliability, and adaptability, as these are important factors in a smaller school like ours, where we naturally depend on each other.
