About the job
Audika is a nationwide chain of local hearing clinics, where we work every day to help our customers hear better. For our hearing clinic in Ringkøbing we are seeking a motivated and customer-engaged hearing specialist.
It is the ideal position for you who are interested in delivering good service and guidance to people with hearing loss, and helping people achieve a better quality of life.
The Job as a Hearing Specialist
You participate in the journey from hearing test to fitting and service follow-up, where you as a motivating communicator ensure that customers have a good experience at Audika, and leave with the hearing aid that best fits their situation.
Quality and professionalism are important in everything we do. Therefore you also work with the latest audiological technological equipment and hearing tests. You work with the latest technology – our hearing aids, which we are very proud of and which without question are premium products.
Your primary tasks will be to
- Drive the daily operation of the clinic including servicing and advising potential customers throughout the entire customer journey – including those generated via our contact center, until they purchase a hearing aid, after which you provide follow-up service and guidance.
- Conduct hearing tests, needs assessment, and advise customers on the hearing solutions that best match their needs.
- Plan and manage your own calendar and proactively follow up with customers throughout their hearing treatment process, to ensure the calendar is optimally booked with hearing tests and subsequent fittings and follow-ups.
- Comply with current guidelines for hearing aid treatment and follow the applicable rules in the Clinic Manual and quality handbook
- Contribute to the clinic's results through relationship-building sales of hearing aids, accessories and hearing protection with the customer's needs in focus according to Audika’s ATRT concept.
The position is 30-32 hours and the working hours are limited to the store's opening hours Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 16:00. The exact working time is agreed with your immediate supervisor, with a view to work-life balance.
We would like to point out that there is no weekend or evening work. You are offered a fixed salary package and paid lunch plus a bonus related to the sale of hearing aids.
The work is performed in accordance with the Health Authority's guidelines for Hearing Aid Treatment and applicable rules according to our clinic manual and audiological protocol.
Meet your new leader
You report to our Regional Sales Manager, Gitte Skree, who leads the Southwest team of hearing specialists. Together you will set the specific goals and expectations for your position.
Here Gitte adds a few words about the team and her leadership approach
”I believe that we achieve good results together. My employees know where to find me, and we have an open, honest and direct dialogue where I appreciate the same honesty in return. I prioritize solving challenges immediately rather than leaving them for later. At the same time, I focus on the long term and on creating a culture where people thrive, develop, and succeed together.”
Meet your new team
You will be based in the Ringkøbing store, and you will be supported together with Lonnie to make the logistics function harmoniously. Lonnie is based in Herning, but is never more than a Microsoft Teams call away.
Do you thrive with responsibility and freedom in daily life? In this role you will be the store's constant focal point and have a strong influence on the daily operation. You plan your own workday, greet customers with presence, and ensure a professional experience from start to finish.
In addition, you have the opportunity to spar with colleagues across other hearing centers in Region Southwest, covering Funen, South Jutland and West Jutland, both via Teams and when we meet in person a few times a year.
Your background as a hearing specialist
- You have relevant education in audiology: audiologist, speech-language pathologist for audiology, audiology assistant or similar.
- Professionally you have experience from hearing care in the form of diagnosing and treating hearing loss, as well as advising and selling hearing aids.
- You are proactive in terms of customer contact and follow-up.
- Your customers describe you as good at making difficult professional information easy to understand while feeling seen, understood and cared for.
Values such as trust, good collaboration and a can-do attitude are highly valued at Audika, and we therefore expect that you can see yourself in them and that they are expressed in your daily work.
