Holmstrupgård seeks a communications intern for spring 2027

Do you want to work with communication and development of the communication area in an important welfare area?

In our communications team we would like to invite you into the engine room. At the moment we are making some of our strategic initiatives even more visible, just as for several years we have been working to broaden the communication effort across many platforms and formats. We would really like to have your help and your perspectives on how we can approach the tasks. We are a three-person communications team who also have other tasks, and we are part of a larger administration department that handles many diverse tasks.

We work closely and have close sparring partners in the communications departments at our sister areas in the Social Area in the Region of Central Denmark (Region Midtjylland).

We offer the opportunity to have influence, learning, good guidance and good colleagues. In addition, we offer what we all care about: an important cause, namely to run and develop offers for children and young people with serious psychological difficulties.

We have good experiences with having interns, and the enthusiasm thankfully goes both ways. We attach high importance to involvement, which means that as an intern you will be allowed to participate in all tasks from start to finish. Our experience is that the new perspective that interns bring is valuable to our task solving. When you are interning with us, we regard you as a like-minded colleague, but you will of course receive guidance and sparring on the task and are not left alone. We have high hopes, but we do not expect that you can do everything.

Tasks and responsibilities

We offer you an internship where you both get a wide range of tasks and responsibilities. We adapt the scope of tasks and responsibilities to your level and qualifications.

Examples of communication tasks we solve, and which you can become part of

• Internal and external communication, including coordination and production of content for our platforms; Holmstrupgård's website, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram, intranet. Most of it is written, but there is increasing need to use other formats such as video and podcast.
• Coordination and production of texts and material for outpatient offers, new offers, theme days and courses for external parties.
• Planning tasks in connection with the execution of events, courses and conferences.
• Planning, recording and editing of podcasts.
• General coordinating tasks and smaller projects in the communications team.
• Practical ad hoc communication tasks.
• Idea development for new initiatives and projects.
• Involvement in further development of our communications strategy.

All tasks are, by default, in Danish.

About Holmstrupgård

Holmstrupgård is a social-psychiatric 24-hour facility for children and young people aged 8-23 (30) years with an internal special education program and employment, a skills training department and outpatient treatment services.

Holmstrupgård houses 5 24-hour units for youths with different psychiatric difficulties including autism spectrum disorders, schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, attention disorders (ADHD), personality and eating disorders.

Holmstrupgård is an autonomous institution under Jysk Børneforsorg and has a service agreement with Region Midtjylland, which means that in all administrative functions we work with the region's systems and guidelines.

Start date 1 February 2027 or by arrangement. We are quite flexible.

The internship is unpaid. The workplace is at Runetoften in Aarhus V with weekly on-site days or meeting activity at Holmstrupgårdvej in Brabrand (distance = 1.5 km). We have electric bikes and cars available, and we can offer a lunch arrangement. We have a lovely workplace. To get the most out of your internship, we recommend that you come to the workplace as often as you can. But of course we also understand that transport, family and logistics must fit for our employees, so there is also the possibility of some days working from home.

The position is in principle full-time.

As Region Midtjylland continuously implements savings and reorganizations, employees in redeployment who apply for the position will have priority.
