Who are we?

Holstedgaard is a social-psychiatric residential facility, where 69 residents live distributed across several teams and with different psychiatric diagnoses. As a special and exciting professional challenge, many of our residents also have complicated somatic disorders.

Your key tasks with us will be

• Holistic nursing care: Responsibility for the fundamental and complex nursing care of residents with a sharp focus on both the psychological and somatic issues.
• Professional documentation: Ensure high quality in the health and social-pedagogical documentation.
• Methodical work: Participate in the team collaboration based on Holstedgaard's social-pedagogical methods.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration: To be part of an interdisciplinary team including, among others, pedagogues, social- and health care assistants, and a schoolteacher.

Your competencies

• You are a trained and authorized nurse – preferably with experience in psychiatry or a specialized education in psychiatric nursing.
• You are driven by working with people with complex needs and by supporting them in relation to both personal care and psychological care.
• You are eager to develop professionally and see common success as the goal.
• It is an advantage if you have knowledge of the principles of Low Arousal , Recovery , and KRAP model – but it is not a requirement, as we make sure you are well prepared with us.

The practical

• Working hours: As a rule, the position is either an evening shift or a day shift with weekend and holiday work. We will discuss the exact framework further in a potential interview.
• Criminal record check: The position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal record. Employment can only begin when a satisfactory certificate is available.
• Driver's license: Not a must, but a definite advantage.
