Horisonten is looking for colleagues (part-time/temporary workers).

Are you currently training to become, for example, a pedagogue or a social worker?

Are you at a point in life where you want new or more challenges alongside another job?

Are you interested in becoming a substitute worker in the social sector?

Then a part-time job at Horisonten might be for you.

Horisonten is a respite care facility for children and young people aged 6-18. We have 10 respite places, currently used by about 40 children and youths.

The target group is children and youths with ADHD and/or autism as well as other challenges of varying nature. The children's diagnoses, resources and level of functioning vary greatly, and therefore we always start from the individual child’s needs, development and resources.

Some of the children can in periods be outwardly challenging, which is why we work from a low arousal approach with a focus on safety, relationships and predictability.

We work, among other things, with the methods TEACCH, low arousal and Marte Meo - and always from a mentalization-based approach, for both each other and the children.

Horisonten is part of the Specialized Support and Relief Services, which also includes Nøddehuset, Danahus and a home care arrangement.

Collectively, the services are used by about 170 children, and there are about 130 employees, of whom about 30 at Horisonten.

Organizationally, we are a framework agreement service under the Nordic regional social agreement and part of the
