House assistant for the dishwashing team in the kitchen at Bispebjerg Hospital

We are looking for a positive, service-minded and engaged house assistant for our dishwashing team.

About the job

As a house assistant you will be an important part of the team that ensures the kitchen's dishwashing, cleaning and food trolleys always meet our high standards. Your work is an important prerequisite for the patient to receive ”The right nutrition, for the right patient, at the right time”, which is the driving force behind Bispebjerg Central Kitchen's mission.

Your main tasks will be

• Dishwashing and cleaning of kitchen equipment
• Various cleaning tasks in the kitchen
• Cleaning and preparation of food trolleys
• Packing food trolleys for distribution at the hospital
• Contributing to ensuring high hygiene and quality in all workflows

You will become part of a workplace where tasks and workflows are continuously developed, and where teamwork and flexibility are a natural part of everyday life.

Who are we?

The kitchen at Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg Hospitals is part of the hospital's FM unit. The position reports to the operations manager.

We cook all meals from scratch with fresh ingredients and have our own bakery, green room, fermentation room and butchery. We are certified with The Organic Eating Label in Gold and work systematically to reduce the CO₂ footprint from our raw material purchases by 50% by 2030.

With us, sustainability is a natural part of daily life. We believe that patients should be able to enjoy good food with consideration for the climate without having to take a stance on it themselves.

You will become part of a large workforce consisting of, among others, nutrition assistants, økonomaer, professional bachelor graduates, butchers, bakers, cooks and unskilled staff.

Employment terms

We are a workplace open all year round, so you should expect shifts on weekdays, weekends and holidays.

• 37 hours per week
• Working hours between 06:00 and 18:30
• Weekend shift every 3rd weekend, two days off: one day before weekend and one day after weekend
• There are shifts on public holidays
• Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement with FOA for house assistants
