Household Assistant for the new health and care facilities

The Rehabilitation service in Fredensborg Municipality is looking for an engaged and steady house assistant for 37 hours per week.

As of January 1, 2027, the Rehabilitation service will transfer to Region Østdanmark as part of the establishment of the new health and care placements. As an employee you will therefore be part of an exciting development, where we together will create future offerings for citizens with complex rehabilitation and care needs.

We are looking for you who want to become part of a warm, humorous and collaborative house, where we each day work purposefully to create a good and safe everyday life for the citizens.

As a house assistant you will be an important part of the department’s daily operations. You will play a central role in ensuring cozy and inviting environments for citizens, relatives and staff, while supporting a well-functioning everyday life across the house.

You will become a natural part of the department and will have close cooperation with both citizens, relatives, care staff, therapists and other employees. With us we help each other, and we place emphasis on a work environment characterized by respect, presence and good humor.

Job tasks

Your tasks will include, among other things

• Preparation and arrangement of breakfast, lunch and snacks
• Ordering, receiving and handling goods
• Cleanup and light cleaning in the kitchen and common areas
• Laundry and handling of linen
• Restocking of depot supplies and consumables
• Ensuring order and structure in common areas and service functions
• Practical support at events and activities
• Collaboration with the department’s other staff to create the best frameworks for the citizens

Company transfer: The Rehabilitation service will transfer on 1 January 2027 to Region Østdanmark. The employment will therefore transfer to regional employment in accordance with the rules on business transfers.
