About the job

Are you strong in labor law and ready for new HR challenges? Holbæk Hospital is seeking an HR consultant for the Division – HR and Education

Do you thrive on being the specialist in your field and the person people come to for advice, and can you balance the role as a specialist in personnel law with broad HR tasks such as recruitment, retention, sick leave and HR data, as well as contribute to the development of these areas?

Then it might be you we are looking for. We are seeking a skilled, outgoing, and helpful colleague who enjoys a varied and dynamic workday with a wide range of tasks in an informal environment.

As an HR consultant you will become a central sparring partner for the hospital’s leaders and play an important role in supporting both daily operations and the ongoing development of the HR area.

About HR and Education

HR and Education is part of the Division at Holbæk Hospital, which also includes Finance and Planning as well as Secretariat, Quality and Digitalisation.

We are five employees and an HR manager who, in close collaboration with the hospital departments, solve a wide range of HR tasks.

As part of HR and Education you will be an important sparring partner for the hospital’s department heads, ward heads, and hospital management. We support 13 departments with around 2,000 employees attached and work closely with management on both daily operations, development, and handling of personnel and HR-related issues.

Responsibilities

Your tasks are diverse, and you will have your own areas of responsibility, but you will also participate in the joint solution of tasks. Your primary tasks will be:

  • Advice and support to managers on HR-related questions, including personnel-law issues
  • Handling of collective agreement questions and participation in negotiations
  • Strategic sparring on salary and terms of employment
  • Participation in and leadership of difficult conversations, care conversations, and other personnel meetings
  • Advising managers on sick leave, well-being and retention

Your competencies

You have a relevant HR or legal education, preferably combined with experience in supporting managers in HR and personnel-law issues, e.g. from a role as an HR Business Partner.

In general you should be efficient and professionally grounded within the HR area, including experience with and knowledge of collective agreements and negotiations.

In addition we emphasize that you

  • Have strong analytical skills and experience with IT
  • Communicate clearly and professionally – both in sensitive conversations and in collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
  • Have good business understanding and experience working in a politically governed organisation
  • Work independently and in a structured manner
  • Can balance a service-minded approach with the ability to prioritise and trim down
  • Contribute actively to the community and have a positive attitude toward both tasks and colleagues
  • Help when it’s busy and be ready to go the extra mile to achieve a good result.

The position entails a broad portfolio of tasks and periods of high activity, so it is important that you can maintain overview, work structurally, and make the necessary priorities. At the same time you thrive in navigating within the framework set by legislation, collective agreements, regional policies and local guidelines for HR advisory services.

We offer

  • An exciting and challenging job with a high degree of independence and responsibility
  • A job in an organization that makes a difference every day
  • A workplace where trust and free space under responsibility are keywords
  • A good working environment with engaged and experienced colleagues who look forward to welcoming you
  • A full-time position based at Holbæk Hospital – close to the highway, within walking distance from the station and with good parking facilities

We place a high priority on well-being and collaboration and value collegiality and psychological safety. We emphasise a strong professional environment where we help each other, share knowledge and also have room for humor in daily life.

We aim to be a flexible workplace with the possibility of work-life balance. Therefore we offer flextime and the possibility of remote work by agreement.

Working hours are 37 hours per week including a paid lunch break.

Employment in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.

Are you ready to take the next step in your HR career and help make a positive difference? We look forward to hearing from you!
