About the job

Do you have solid experience with employment law, and do you thrive at advising leaders on both everyday HR questions and complex personnel cases? Are you motivated to help the leaders build the right team as well? Then you may be our new HR partner in the Agency for Green Area Renaturation and Water Environment with the service location in Copenhagen.

A varied everyday life with broad professional breadth

As an HR partner you will be a trusted sparring partner for a number of office managers and team leaders. You will advise on the full spectrum of HR and personnel-law issues and play a significant role in recruitment processes from drafting job postings to salary and employment negotiations.

We emphasize delivering professional and solution-oriented advice, whether the inquiry concerns a minor personnel challenge or a complex case.

Specifically, your daily tasks will include the following

  • Advise leaders on HR and personnel-law questions.
  • Handle personnel cases, including sick leave and disciplinary matters.
  • Plan and carry out recruitment processes.
  • Negotiate salary and terms of employment.
  • Interpret rules and ensure consistent practice in the personnel area.
  • Contribute to development and knowledge sharing in the HR team.

A part of a nationwide HR team

The Agency for Green Area Renaturation and Water Environment has about 1,600 employees and about 100 managers spread across 16 locations across the country.

You will become part of Team HR in the Directorate Secretariat, Press and Communications, HR and Contact Center. The team consists of 17 dedicated employees located in Copenhagen, Odense and Augustenborg. We work closely across locations to ensure high quality and consistency in our task execution.

We prioritise both professional sparring and the collegial community. Therefore the whole team meets physically in Copenhagen once a month.

An experienced and proactive HR partner

You are a trained lawyer or have achieved a comparable solid personnel-law foundation through several years of experience in a similar role – preferably from the public sector. You keep yourself up to date with new regulations and trends within the HR law field, and colleagues and managers will therefore perceive you as a competent and credible sparring partner.

The job requires you to work independently, in a structured way and be proactive, as we achieve the best results when HR is involved early in personnel cases. You see the strength in collaboration and sharing knowledge – both within your field and with managers across units and addresses.

Therefore choose us

With us you become part of a professionally strong team with an informal tone. We help each other, share knowledge and value a work environment where high professionalism goes hand in hand with good humor.

You will have a role with extensive contact, considerable autonomy and the opportunity to make a real difference for leaders and employees in an agency that plays an important role in the green transition.

Terms of employment

Employment and remuneration are governed by the current collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the relevant trade union. Depending on experience, placement may be as a special consultant.

The position is full-time.

The employment area is the Ministry of Nature and Animal Welfare with associated institutions and the service location is Nyropsgade 30, 1780 Copenhagen V.

The position is desired to be filled on December 1, 2026, or as soon as possible.
