About the job

Do you have solid experience with staff law, and do you thrive in advising managers on both everyday HR questions and complex personnel cases? Are you motivated to help the managers assemble the right team? Then you may be our new HR partner in the Agency for Green Area Reallocation and Water Environment with the work location in Copenhagen.

A diverse daily life with broad professional scope

As an HR partner you will be a trusted sparring partner for a number of office managers and team leaders. You will advise on the full range of HR and personnel-law questions and play a significant role in recruitment processes from preparing job advertisements to salary and employment negotiations.

We place emphasis on delivering professional and solution-oriented guidance, whether the inquiry concerns a minor personnel challenge or a complex case.

Specifically, your daily tasks will include the following

  • Advise leaders on HR and personnel-law questions.
  • Handle personnel cases, including sick leave and disciplinary matters.
  • Plan and carry out recruitment processes.
  • Negotiate salary and terms of employment.
  • Interpret rules and ensure consistent practice in the personnel area.
  • Contribute to development and knowledge sharing in the HR team.

A part of a nationwide HR team

The Agency for Green Area Reallocation and Water Environment has approx. 1,600 employees and about 100 managers distributed across 16 locations nationwide.

You will become part of Team HR in the unit Directorate Secretariat, Press and Communication, HR and Contact Center. The team consists of 17 dedicated colleagues located in Copenhagen, Odense and Augustenborg. We work closely across locations to ensure high quality and consistency in our task execution.

We value both professional sparring and the collegial community. Therefore the whole team meets in person in Copenhagen once a month.

An experienced and action-oriented HR partner

You are a trained lawyer or have obtained an equivalent solid personnel-law foundation through several years of experience in a similar job – preferably from the public sector. You keep up to date with new provisions and trends within the HR-law field, and colleagues and managers will thus perceive you as a competent and credible sparring partner.

The job requires you to work independently, in a structured way and be proactive, as we achieve the best results when HR is involved early in personnel cases. You see the strength in collaborating and sharing knowledge – both within your field and with managers across units and addresses.

Why you should choose us

With us you become part of a professionally strong team with an informal tone. We help each other, share knowledge and value a working environment where high professionalism goes hand in hand with good humor.

You will have a role with a large contact surface, considerable autonomy, and the opportunity to make a real difference for managers and employees in a agency that plays an important role in the green transition.

Employment terms

Employment and remuneration are in accordance with the current collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the relevant trade union. Depending on experience, placement may be as a Special Consultant.
