About the job
Are you motivated by building good relationships, and are you able to meet the business's needs while you perform process and development tasks? Then you are the one we need!
Banedanmark is a government agency in rapid development, creating the prerequisite for hundreds of thousands of Danes to travel by train every day, and for thousands of tons of goods to be transported by rail. We are building a completely new attractive, green railway for new, modern and climate-friendly electric trains, while keeping the old railway running.
In HR we support this development and have a committed and strong professional community. In the role of HR partner you will come very close to the business through daily sparring with managers out in the business - whether it is in operations, traffic control, in our many railway projects or in our business-supporting functions.
Banedanmark employs about 3,000 people, organized into six divisions. As an HR partner you will be part of the Negotiation & Legal section, which consists of a section manager and two teams; an HR legal team and an HR partner team.
Your tasks
As an HR partner you will among other things work with
- close collaboration and sparring with managers about daily operations and leadership, e.g. follow-up on employee well-being, illness, vacation, etc.
- coordination of organizational changes as well as development and implementation of personnel policies
- advising on personnel law matters
- advising managers on planning and conducting leadership recruitments
- participation in and operation of HR annual cycle tasks, including the preparation of management information, the annual salary negotiations and follow-up on APV and well-being measurements
An HR profile that delivers results
You hold a social sciences degree or another relevant academic education.
As a person you are curious, proactive and action-oriented toward the challenges that move in the business, and with your experience you can translate the business's needs into concrete HR initiatives.
Furthermore, we imagine that you
- have experience in supporting cross-functional collaboration between managers, HR and other relevant stakeholders in the organization
- can prioritize and manage several simultaneous HR tasks and have experience building collaborative relationships with managers and internal and external partners
- have experience advising managers at different levels in a larger or more complex organization on HR-related issues
- communicate well in both written and spoken form, and you can operate in English, as we have units that primarily employ English-speaking staff
What do we offer?
We offer a professional community where we focus on finding the best solutions across a wide range of HR tasks. In the HR partner team we focus on delivering valuable support to managers, supporting HR processes and promoting collaboration across the organization as well as contributing to HR strategic initiatives.
With us you can
- work in a good community where we help each other and share knowledge across
- take advantage of flexible working conditions – we offer flex time and the possibility of remote work up to one day a week
- develop professionally and personally with exciting tasks
In addition, you will be part of a workplace where there is room for professional input, collaboration and sparring in everyday life.
Salary and terms of employment
You are hired under the applicable collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and a number of academic associations for academics in the state at any given time.
You will be placed based on academic seniority and experience as a Senior Specialist or Chief Specialist according to the applicable collective agreement, which you can find here, and the Employee and Competence Agency's salary overview, which you can find here.
Depending on your qualifications and competences, there is a possibility of negotiating supplements. There will be an employer-financed pension scheme of 18.07% attached.
Your workplace will be Banedanmark's new, modern main office at Kalvebod Brygge in Copenhagen. However, you should expect some travel activity within the country, as we want to be visible to the business.
