Do you want to help develop the future healthy, energy-efficient and well-functioning buildings? We are seeking an experienced HVAC engineer for our team in Horsens.

As a domain engineer you will have a central role in the design of VVS/HVAC installations in both public and private construction projects. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to take a professional leadership role as a competence leader and help develop our expertise, working methods and digital solutions.

Responsibilities

As an HVAC engineer and domain engineer, the tasks will include

• Design and calculate VVS/HVAC installations through the various phases of construction projects.
• Assume the professional role on projects from the initial design to handover.
• Manage your own projects with focus on technical aspects, quality, time and economy.
• Contribute to solutions within energy, indoor climate and sustainable construction.
• Engage in close multidisciplinary collaboration with architects, engineers and other consultants.
• Be a technical sparring partner for both experienced and less experienced colleagues.
• Take a professional leadership role as competence leader within VVS/HVAC, energy, indoor climate and LCA.
• Contribute to developing professional standards, working methods and competences in the team.
• Support a more efficient and competitive advisory service through digitalisation and AI.

The project portfolio ranges, among others, from housing, schools, hospitals and other institutions. There are therefore good opportunities to apply the expertise to many different types of buildings and varying complexity.

We are seeking

An experienced VVS/HVAC engineer who wants to combine technical design with professional leadership and development of competences.

You have

• A degree as a Diploma Engineer, Civil Engineer or equivalent.
• Min. eight years of experience as a VVS or HVAC engineer.
• Three to five years of experience as a domain engineer within VVS/HVAC, energy and indoor climate.
• Solid experience with design and calculation of VVS/HVAC installations.
• Interest in or experience with energy optimization, indoor climate and LCA.
• Willingness and ability to take responsibility as a professional leader, competence leader and domain engineer on projects.
• Interest in applying digitalisation and AI as a natural part of modern advisory.

It is advantageous if you have experience from the consultancy industry and with multidisciplinary construction projects, but the most important is strong professional competence, good collaboration skills and motivation to develop both projects, colleagues and the advisory as a whole.
