Then perhaps you are the one we are looking for to the implementation and development team in HR and Patient Contact in Region North Jutland.

About the task and the role

Region North Jutland is a large workplace with many employees and many professions, at hospitals, in the specialist sector, etc. In the implementation and development team we are focused on supporting organizational leaders and employees in their work with implementation and development of workflows and general practices across professions, departments and other partners.

To be able to do this, it requires close cooperation with nurses, doctors, health administrators, laboratory technicians, psychologists and many other professional groups. Our task is to understand their daily life. As a consultant with us you are typically a facilitator, sparring partner and learning designer. You help a larger or smaller group to explore, learn, test and create momentum on the way to their goals.

Examples of tasks

• Establishing organization and workflows around a new patient group in an acute reception. Focus on patient experience and reducing the length of stay.
• Develop the workflows between a hospital pharmacy and an oncology department regarding patients treated with cytostatics. Focus on patient safety and strengthened collaboration.
• Establishment of cross-sector collaboration between municipal health nursing, general practitioners and a pediatric department regarding children with incontinence. Focus on prevention and population responsibility.
• Design and execution of a workshop with 150 participants from all North Jutland municipalities, general practice and Region North Jutland about the implementation of health and care placements in connection with the health reform. Focus on knowledge sharing and possibilities for the health system of the future.

For success in the role as Implementation and Development Consultant it is therefore important to be able to:

• support the implementation of new initiatives, methods and workflows
• facilitate learning and development processes often focusing on citizen pathways and workflows
• translate complex problems into concrete actions and trials
• support leaders and employees in creating lasting improvements
• create overview of connections, dependencies and organizational infrastructure
• participate in cross-cutting development projects where solutions must work across the organization or in a cross-sectoral field
• use quantitative and qualitative data to create learning and momentum in the tasks

About you

We imagine that you have experience with implementation, facilitation and development work.

You do not need to know everything. However, we emphasize that you

• have an eye for both the organization, the system and the concrete practice
• can navigate in complexity and see connections and dependencies across
• are curious about what actually happens in practice – not only what is written in the plan
• can design and facilitate processes where people learn together and translate learning into action
• can create structure and momentum without necessarily owning the solution yourself
• have the courage to test, adjust and learn along the way
• thrive in working with many different professional disciplines and perspectives.

Perhaps you have a health science, social science, pedagogical, organizational or other relevant background. The most important for us is not your educational title, but your approach to the tasks.

About us

With us you will become part of HR and Patient Contact, which handles a wide range of tasks for the region's hospitals and other entities. You will be employed in the Office of Leadership Development and Work Environment, which is one of five offices in the department. Your closest colleagues are four Implementation and Development Consultants.

We work with a common methodological foundation, where we use Quality Implementation Framework, Model for Improvement, Lean, behavior design and co-creation. You will have the opportunity to shape your role and contribute to developing both the tasks and our way of working.

You will become part of a professionally strong team, where we work closely together on the tasks and you will not get bored. The tasks are varied, complex and meaningful, and you will have good colleagues to spar with along the way.

We cover the entire geography of North Jutland, and we also have tasks across the country. Therefore it is a requirement that you have a driving license and an advantage if you have a car available.

Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement for academics employed in regions etc., concluded with the relevant AC organizations or according to the collective agreement for administrative and IT staff, etc., concluded with HK depending on your educational background.
