As a day-care provider you create a safe and developmental everyday life for a small group of children aged 0–3 years. You get time to see the individual child, follow its development and create the close relationships that matter so much in the child’s first years of life.

We are looking for you who meet the children with warmth, care and presence, and who can create a calm everyday life with room for play, learning and development.

You work independently – but you are never alone

Although you work in your own home, you become part of a professional and social community.

Competent and experienced day-care providers and a day-care pedagogue are ready to support you with guidance, sparring and good advice. You also get the opportunity to meet other day-care providers and children in the playroom, on excursions and at joint activities.

As a new day-care provider we ensure that you receive a good introduction and a secure start.

We are looking for you, who

• are eager to work with the well-being and development of small children
• are presenceful, caring and good at creating secure relationships
• can work independently and create structure in everyday life
• are eager for professional sparring and development
• see parents as important partners
• have the opportunity to make your home available as a day-care home in the time frame 6.30–16.15
• are eager to work with the strengthened pedagogical curriculum

Your educational background is not decisive. The most important thing is your engagement, your view of children and your desire to make a difference for the children.

Salary, working hours and other terms of employment follow the applicable collective agreement with FOA. Upon hire, a criminal record check and a child-safety check are obtained.
