About the Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization

The Defence Ministry's Material and Procurement Agency (FMI) is Denmark's central authority for the armed forces' and emergency services' materiel, IT and cyber security in peace, crisis and war. We work to ensure that the entire defence is equipped, updated and operational — at a time when the demands on speed and combat power have never been greater. It is us who procure, operate and dispose of matériel and IT for the Army, Navy, Air Force and the rest of the Defence Organisation.

It is our IT staff who every day help avert the cyber-attacks the organisation faces. We are a diverse organisation with about 2,500 employees — civilians and military — spread across the whole Kingdom.
