About the job

Industrial technician / Machinist for our Department of Machine Repairs - use of a conventional lathe

Manual lathe - mechanics broadly speaking - work in the workshop and occasionally assembly on-site at our customers  North Jutland  Created: 01/09/2026

 The application deadline is 20/11/2026 The position In the Department of Machine Repairs we employ staff who are able to use a manual lathe and who have worked with the craft at a high quality level. To handle tasks in our machine repairs and service, a total of 25 employees are employed, so you will join a team of skilled and experienced colleagues. 8-10 employees work in our workshop and the remaining employees are typically working at our customers' sites.

Your main tasks

  • Primarily turning and milling tasks in accordance with drawings and descriptions (manual experience required)
  • Repair and service of all forms of mechanical and hydraulic systems - depending on what suits your competencies
  • Measuring and quality control of parts
  • Ad hoc assistance in assembly tasks at our customers

Your background and experience You are educated as an industrial technician/machinist or have another relevant education within the iron and metal industry.

You possess broad technical insight and master the operation of a conventional lathe. This is clearly the most important competence and a requirement from our side.

In addition, we would like you to have experience with welding and hydraulics, and you may of course also have a forklift certificate. For this reason and due to tasks off-site, it is a requirement that you have at least a driving license (B).

If you are competent and experienced in using a conventional lathe, but have not previously worked with hydraulics and welding, you are still encouraged to apply, as we will allocate tasks in the team based on this.

You must be able to work closely with colleagues and contribute to efficient processes in the workshop, and it is also important that you can work independently with planning and next steps in the tasks. You contribute with a positive attitude, and set high quality requirements for your own and others' work. We therefore place high value on punctuality and flexibility.

We offer An exciting and versatile position in a growth company with an informal, professional tone and with short decision-making processes. This is make-to-order production/repair, so almost no two days are the same.

Remuneration is based on qualifications.

Workplace Your work will take place at the address Langerak 8, 9220 Aalborg East, and occasionally as indicated there will also be work at our customers' sites.
