About the position

In close collaboration with your colleagues, you will play an important role in the daily production, where your primary tasks will be setup, changeover and operation of CNC turning lathes .

You will work independently on machining various parts and focus on ensuring that the production runs stably, efficiently and with the right quality. You must be able to read and understand technical drawings, select and work with the right tools, and ensure that targets and tolerances are met.

Your tasks will include

• Setting up and changing over CNC turning lathes
• Production of various parts on CNC turning lathes
• Selection and adjustment of tools and cutting data
• Inspection and quality assurance of finished parts
• Working from technical drawings and tolerances
• Troubleshooting and adjustments in connection with ongoing production
• Optimization of workflows and machining processes
• Adjustment of existing CNC programs as needed

You will among other things work with Okuma-, Hyundai- and Goodway-machines .

This is a versatile position where your practical experience and understanding of CNC turning are more important than being a specialist in programming.

About you

We expect that you are educated as an industrial technician, machinist or have gained equivalent competencies through several years of practical experience.

The most important is that you have a solid understanding of CNC turning and chip-removing machining , and that you can work independently with setup and production.

We place, among other things, emphasis on that you

• Have practical experience with CNC turning
• Can set up and change over CNC turning lathes
• Have good drawing comprehension
• Have understanding of tolerances, metrology and quality
• Have experience with tool selection and cutting data
• Can troubleshoot and make necessary adjustments during production
• Work in a structured, independent and quality-conscious way

If you have experience with ISO programming , that is an advantage, but not essential. The most important is your practical experience at the CNC turning lathe and your understanding of the machining process itself.

Practical information

You report in at the company’s address, where the working hours in principle are Monday to Thursday 06:00–15:00 and Friday 06:00–11:30. There is the possibility of flexible working hours.
