Industrial Technician Wanted for Permanent Night Shift – CNC Milling in a State-of-the-Art Workshop Near Farum

On the night shift, your main task is to keep production running.

The machines are generally set up and ready when you clock in. Together with the few other colleagues on the night shift, you will be responsible for monitoring several CNC machines and ensuring that production continues steadily throughout the night.

If an alarm, a machine stoppage or a production fault occurs, you must be able to find the cause and get the machine up and running again. Therefore you need experience with CNC milling and a technical understanding that enables you to handle the challenges that may arise.

Your everyday life on the night shift

You will be working in a modern and automated CNC production including, among other things, Okuma machines and a robot-operated FMS production cell.

Your tasks will include

• Monitoring several CNC machines
• Ensuring stable production through the night
• Handling alarms, machine stops and operational disturbances
• Troubleshooting when production is not running as planned
• Restarting and adjusting machines after minor stoppages
• Inspection of tools, workpieces and production sequence
• Measuring and quality control of produced parts
• Small changes in programs and machine settings
• Contact with the relevant colleagues if a larger fault cannot be resolved on the night shift

Since there are few staff on the night shift, it is important that you can keep an overview and assess which machine or task should be handled first.

We are looking for someone who

• Is educated as an industrial technician or machinist
• Has experience with CNC milling
• Can read and understand technical drawings
• Can work with programs and make adjustments at the machine
• Has an understanding of tools, materials and machining processes
• Can troubleshoot and act when a machine stops
• Can work independently and take responsibility for production
• Thrives working reliably at night
