Industrial Technician or Machine Operator

Are you sharp at manual turning – and do you want a daily life with many different tasks?

We are seeking an industrial technician or machinist for our machine workshop at Hoyer VMS Group in Frederikshavn.

Here we do not work with long series of identical parts. A large part of the work consists of repairs, adjustments and special tasks, where often only one part needs to be produced. Therefore we are looking for you who know your craft, can work from drawings and tolerances and preferably think along when a task needs to be solved.

What will you be doing?

In the machine workshop we solve many different repair and special tasks for our customers. You will among other things work with:

• Machining of both smaller and larger parts
• Repairs, adjustments and special tasks, often as one-off production
• Work from technical drawings, dimensions and tolerances
• Measuring and inspection of parts
• CNC turning and milling, if you have experience or interest in it

There may also be opportunities to accompany assignments at customers and work with on-site machining.

Who are we looking for?

You are probably educated as an industrial technician or machinist – or have gained equivalent experience in another way. The most important for us is that you have experience with or strong interest in manual machining and turning.

We also imagine that you

• Can read a technical drawing and work to dimensions and tolerances
• Have control of measuring and the quality of what you deliver
• Can work independently and take responsibility for your task
• Like to find solutions when the task does not come with a ready-made recipe
• Can, if necessary, adapt to changing tasks and working hours
• Contribute to good collaboration in the workshop

If you have experience with CNC, Mazatrol or Heidenhain, that is a plus – but not a requirement.
