Information security consultant for Rebild Municipality

In Rebild Municipality's security team we are looking for an information security consultant who can help develop and drive the work with information security in the municipality.

Rebild Municipality has in recent years worked purposefully on the development and operation of the information security area and has a strong focus on both implementing the work and further developing the area, so that information security becomes a more natural part of the daily work in the municipality.

You will become part of the IT and Digitalization department, where we are four teams working together across in an informal environment, where you will never be left alone with the tasks.

About the position

Your tasks will vary and consist of a mix of concrete operational tasks, development projects, participation in relevant networks around information security, etc.

For example, this can include

• Entering data processing agreements and supervising data processors
• Testing and revising contingency plans and procedures
• Preparing and maintaining policies and guidelines
• Preparing risk assessments and impact analyses
• Advising and supporting the organization’s work with tasks related to information security
• Participating in cross-governmental and cross-municipal experience networks and working groups
• Registering, reporting and following up on security incidents

We distribute the tasks in the team among us based on relevant competences and areas of interest.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who has a strong desire to give the work with information security a human face. You work in a solution-oriented way and understand how to translate laws and requirements into municipal practice, where consideration for professional needs, workflows and development opportunities must come together as a coherent whole. You are good at building relationships across the organization and can coordinate and drive initiatives at multiple levels.

Furthermore, it is an advantage if you have

• experience with information security and GDPR
• knowledge of or interest in working in a politically governed organization
• knowledge of relevant standards and legislation, such as ISO27001 – and 27002, the NIS2 Directive, among others.

Salary and terms of employment

The position is 37 hours per week with start on 1 December 20026.

Salary and terms of employment are according to the applicable collective agreement.
