SCR is seeking on behalf of Atea an experienced Infrastructure Architect for exciting enterprise projects within hybrid cloud, virtualization and modern data center infrastructure. The position can be attached to the Aarhus or Ballerup office.

THE POSITION

You will play a central role in the design, implementation and further development of robust infrastructure and cloud solutions in complex environments. Your work will include producing High Level Design (HLD) and Low Level Design (LLD) as well as architecture work across virtualization, data center and cloud. You will work with modernization and migration of existing infrastructures to hybrid solutions, where on-prem data centers are combined with Microsoft Azure.

An important part of the role is to ensure stable operation through capacity planning, performance optimization, lifecycle management as well as standardization and governance.

You will work with

• Design and implementation of hybrid cloud architectures (on-prem + Azure)
• Virtualization platforms and data center infrastructure
• Migration and modernization projects
• Infrastructure operations, stability and performance optimization
• Automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell)
• Integration to Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure Arc, Azure Site Recovery)
• Documentation, technical analysis and troubleshooting in complex environments

You will also participate in workshops, technical reviews and customer meetings, as well as collaborate closely with internal teams, suppliers and customers.

THE PERSON

You have solid experience with enterprise infrastructure and/or virtualization and thrive in complex environments where stability, security and architecture are in focus.

You have experience with several of the following areas

• Virtualization (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware or similar)
• Windows Server and enterprise data center infrastructure
• SAN, NAS or software-defined storage
• Networking (VLAN, teaming, load balancing)
• Backup and restore solutions
• Enterprise hardware platforms (HPE, Dell, Lenovo)
• Hybrid cloud solutions and Azure integration

Hyper-V is part of the environment – but the most important is that you understand virtualized and hybrid infrastructures in general.

You have experience with automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell) and work in a structured way with focus on operational reliability, security, hardening as well as compliance and governance.

You thrive in collaboration with both technical specialists and business stakeholders and can communicate complex technical issues in a clear and advisory manner.

It is expected that you either have or can obtain certifications such as AZ-800 and AZ-801, and continuously keep your skills up to date.

The role requires that you can obtain security clearance or have the possibility to do so.
