About the job
At the Institute for Chemistry and Bioscience, Aalborg University, there is one or more available positions as student study guide at Kemishow ( Kemishow AAU - Aalborg University ). Start date is 1 January 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.
The tasks include development, preparation, and execution of the chemistry show primarily at schools and institutions in Northern Jutland, but also elsewhere in the country. In addition, there will be days dedicated to training of existing experiments as well as development and testing of new experiments.
Kemishow is not merely a job - it is also a community among fellow students at the Institute for Chemistry and Bioscience across semesters. Various social events are held regularly according to interest, as well as an annual trip to the DM in ScienceShow. DM in ScienceShow is a social event for science shows from all over Denmark, spanning a weekend in the spring.
The number of working hours will vary from month to month and will be negotiated on an ongoing basis. The extent of the work depends on the number of kemishows booked at AAU, as well as whether you agree to participate in the offered events. There may be months without working hours, and the monthly hours may therefore vary from 0 to 32 hours. The placement of the working hours will also vary and be negotiated continuously as needed.
