About the job

Do you want to work with the ambulance paramedic education? Then Rybners Rescue Center Denmark is the right place for you! We are a recognized institution within prehospital education, and now seek a dedicated part-time instructor, equivalent to an average of 18.5 hours/week, for our Ambulance Paramedic team.

At Rybners Rescue Center Denmark you will become part of a dedicated team of instructors who are passionate about educating the future ambulance responders. As an instructor on the ambulance paramedic education, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our students receive the best possible education and are equipped to handle all types of acute situations. Your primary responsibilities will include teaching theoretical and practical skills within ambulance care.

Primary responsibilities

As part of our team your primary responsibilities will include

  • You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching to our students. This includes, in collaboration with your colleagues, planning and conducting teaching activities, facilitating discussions and evaluating students' progress. You must ensure that the teaching is structured and tailored to the students' needs and learning objectives. You will also be involved in providing individual guidance and support to the students so they can achieve their full potential.
  • You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of teaching materials that are relevant and engaging for our students. This can include preparing lesson plans, developing teaching materials and updating existing teaching resources.

You must stay up to date with the latest initiatives and methods within your field to ensure the teaching is relevant and of high quality. You will have the opportunity to contribute your own ideas and experiences to improve the education.

You must be able to create a safe and supportive learning environment, where the students feel seen and heard, and will be responsible for carrying out evaluations, feedback and student conversations to monitor the students' development and well-being.

About you

It is desirable that you have a solid background and experience in ambulance care and emergency medicine. We are looking for a colleague who has a relevant education as an ambulance paramedic or paramedic, as well as an in-depth knowledge of the latest treatment methods and protocols within emergency medicine.

About us

As an instructor with us you will have the opportunity to combine your work in the ambulance service with teaching at the school. We believe that the best teaching comes from practical experience, and therefore you will have the opportunity to share your own experiences and expertise with our motivated students.

The school would like to contribute to your professional development in areas relevant to the teaching. You may have a desire to pursue paramedic education, or other relevant continuing/advanced education, so you can stay up to date in your field and develop yourself as an instructor. Each year a pool of hours is allocated which your manager, in collaboration with you, can use to make a development plan for your professional growth.

In the first years of your employment you will complete a pedagogical diploma in vocational pedagogy. The school will of course pay course fees and hours for the training.

Formalities and the recruitment process

We look forward to receiving your application and learning more about your qualifications and experience within ambulance paramedic education. If you are passionate about sharing your knowledge and experience with future ambulance paramedics and want to be part of a dynamic and professional team, then this job is for you.
