At the Department of Religious Studies, Institute for Culture and Society, students are sought for instructor positions available to be filled as of 1 February 2027 in the following disciplines:

Two positions in Christianity (2nd semester, BA+BA TV) with a total number of hours 65 hours per appointment . The position will be divided into 2 teaching hours per week for 13 weeks in Christianity with a total of 39 hours of preparation

The employment period will be 1 February – 31 May 2027.

It is assumed that the applicant is willing to participate in coordinating meetings regarding the organization and planning of the teaching, as well as possible participation in task marking according to the individual teacher's discretion.

The instructors will be introduced to their tasks and a teaching plan by one of the instructors in the course.

The application must include a statement of the applicant's motivation, relevant pedagogical prerequisites, and documentation of good academic qualifications. The application must indicate which teaching program is being sought. Please note that you must use your AU email for the application.

When assessing applicants, emphasis is placed on achieved grades, insight into the subjects, recommendations, and any teaching experience.

Notification of employment/ rejection will be given within four weeks after the application deadline.

It is a prerequisite for employment that you are an active student. The employment is contingent on the necessary funding.

If hired as an instructor for two groups with the same content, full preparation time is allocated (i.e., 1.5 hours per teaching hour) to the first teaching session (first group) and half preparation time to the subsequent group.

Employment is conducted in accordance with the Ministry of Finance and SUL (student instructors).
