Job description
Internship at Rambøll Management Consulting, Societal Impact & Policy
Copenhagen, Denmark
Do you want to challenge the boundaries of your professional expertise and develop your talent in an open, collaborative and inclusive culture, while becoming part of our journey to create a globally leading consulting firm in sustainability and strategy?
If that sounds like you – or if you are simply curious to hear more – then this role could be the perfect opportunity. Join Rambøll Management Consulting, Societal Impact & Policy, as our new intern and help create a sustainable future.
Your new team
The Societal Impact & Policy team at Rambøll Management Consulting supports societal change by providing decision-makers and policy owners with strategic advice and robust data-driven insights. We deliver analysis, scientific mapping and evaluation, facilitate stakeholder engagement and develop policy and strategic planning for both public and private clients.
The team focuses on contributing positively to society, building resilience and promoting development in areas such as foundations, the built environment, transport and energy, with topics like social sustainability, societal transformation, health, education and quality of life.
As an intern in Rambøll Management Consulting you will become part of a young and dynamic team at our locations in either Aarhus or Copenhagen, working with everything from policy and strategy development, sustainability, organizational development and business development to larger and smaller evaluations and analyses.
Interns contribute to projects that involve data collection, stakeholder analyses, impact assessments and implementation plans, and gain practical experience with methods and tools that characterize modern consultancy work. Furthermore, we work across sectors such as energy, infrastructure, construction, industry, waste and water and advise municipalities, ministries, NGOs and private companies.
We deliver integrated solutions that combine deep sustainability knowledge with strategic insight and offer clients a single entry point to navigate complexity and create real change.
Your new role
- You will contribute at all stages of the project solution, from planning and data collection through data processing and analysis, to reporting and communicating results and solution models.
- You will work with bid processes and development work – and thus gain a broad insight into the consulting craft.
- You will work with a wide range of social science analysis methods – from quantitative data analysis to qualitative and anthropological methods. We welcome your interest in working with new methods, using AI, etc.
- You will become part of a dynamic and professionally inspiring team, with room for diversity, a focus on learning and room for humor.
About you
From day one at Rambøll Management Consulting we will support your personal and professional development, so you can continue to grow with us. We look forward to supporting your continued learning and to finding the right match, we have listed a number of qualifications and competencies that will give you the best conditions for success in this role:
- You are currently pursuing or will soon start a master's degree in a relevant graduate program, e.g., economics, political science, public health, sociology, anthropology, law, public administration, environmental studies or business economics.
- You have strong academic results.
- You have relevant professional experience from student jobs, internships or volunteering activities.
- You work in a structured way and have strong analytical and conceptual abilities.
- You think strategically, have a high degree of abstraction ability and can put yourself in the client’s shoes.
- You can work independently, but also thrive in a team.
- You have experience with PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- You speak and write fluent Danish, which is a requirement due to our projects.
- You are a Danish citizen or an EU citizen. Applicants from non-EU countries who do not already have a valid Danish residence permit cannot be considered, as current visa processing times exceed the timeframe for internship start.
