Job Description
Internship at Rambøll Management Consulting, Societal Impact & Policy
Aarhus, Denmark
Would you like to challenge the boundaries of your field and develop your talent in an open, collaborative and inclusive culture, while becoming part of our journey to create a globally leading advisory firm in sustainability and strategy?
If that sounds like you – or if you’re simply curious to hear more – then this role could be the perfect opportunity. Join Rambøll Management Consulting, Societal Impact & Policy, as our new intern and help create a sustainable future.
Your new team
The Societal Impact & Policy team at Rambøll Management Consulting supports societal change by giving decision-makers and policy leads strategic advice and solid data-driven insights. We deliver analysis, mapping and evaluation, facilitate stakeholder engagement and develop policy and strategic planning for both public and private clients.
The team focuses on contributing positively to society, building resilience and promoting development in areas such as foundations, the built environment, transport and energy, with topics such as social sustainability, societal transition, health, education and quality of life.
As an intern at Rambøll Management Consulting you will become part of a young and dynamic team at our locations in either Aarhus or Copenhagen, working with everything from policy and strategy development, sustainability, organizational development and business development to larger and smaller evaluations and analyses.
Interns contribute to projects involving data collection, stakeholder analyses, impact assessments and implementation plans, and gain practical experience with methods and tools that characterize modern consulting. Furthermore, we work across sectors such as energy, infrastructure, construction, industry, waste and water and advise municipalities, ministries, NGOs and private companies.
We deliver integrated solutions that combine deep sustainability knowledge with strategic insight and offer clients a single entry point to navigate complexity and create real change.
Your new role
- You will contribute at all stages of the project solution, from planning and data collection, through data processing and analysis, to reporting and dissemination of results and solution models.
- You will work with bid processes and development work – and thus gain broad insight into the consulting craft.
- You will work with a wide range of social science analysis methods – from quantitative data analysis to qualitative and anthropological methods. We would like you to have an interest in working with new methods, applying AI, etc.
- You will become part of a dynamic and professionally inspiring team, with room for diversity, a focus on learning and room for humor.
About you
From day one at Rambøll Management Consulting we will support your personal and professional development so you can continue to grow with us. We look forward to supporting your ongoing learning and to finding the right match, we have listed a number of qualifications and competencies that will give you the best conditions for success in this role:
- You are currently pursuing or about to begin a master's degree in a relevant advanced education e.g. economics, political science, public health, sociology, anthropology, law, public administration, environmental studies or business economics.
- You have strong academic results.
- You have relevant professional experience from a student job, internship or volunteer activities.
- You work in a structured way and have strong analytical and conceptual abilities.
- You think strategically, have a high degree of abstraction and can put yourself in the client’s shoes
- You can work independently, but also thrive in a team.
- You have experience with PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- You speak and write fluent Danish, which is a requirement due to our projects.
- You are Danish or EU citizen. Applicants from countries outside the EU who do not already have a valid Danish residence permit cannot be considered, as the current visa processing times exceed the timeframe for starting the internship.
