We are seeking an intern in training for our team in Digital Industries Automation. We guide and help Danish machine builders and manufacturing companies to develop and improve their technological solutions in digitalization, automation, networking, industrial security and much more. You can look forward to becoming an integrated part of our team in Aarhus, consisting of dedicated technical specialists who share a passion for innovation and technological development.

You will participate in group meetings and during the internship period be a fixed part of the team. A buddy/mentor from the team will be appointed, who will be your point of contact and accompany you throughout the entire process.

The content

You will be part of a workplace with many colleagues from several locations across the country. There is great flexibility and freedom, which also places demands on you as a person and your ability to navigate in this.

You will as a starting point follow your Buddy and you will plan the tasks together.

The tasks may include

• Solutions for PLC, HMI, Edge Computing, auto-generation and much more. Here, skills in PLC programming and .NET will come into play
• Practical technical solutions to be tested or more theoretical investigations
• Internal Siemens tasks or a task to be carried out in collaboration with a customer

In addition to your defined tasks you will follow our daily routine with customer visits, meetings at other Siemens locations and sparring across departments.

There will also be the opportunity to take relevant education, among others in our Academy SITRAIN, where we also train our customers.

You generally get great influence over your tasks and we offer great flexibility.

About you

• You are in training as an automation technologist, engineer, machinist engineer or equivalent technical education
• As a person you are responsible, self-driven and take initiative
• You possess good communication skills and can convey technical knowledge in an understandable way.
• You are curious and thrive on change
• Proficient in Danish and English, both written and spoken
