About the job

Do you want to test yourself in Public Affairs in one of Denmark's largest business organizations? Now you have the opportunity to become part of an ambitious team that works at the intersection of politics, business and advocacy. As an intern in Landbrug & Fødevarer's Public Affairs department you will have a diverse daily life where you are close to decision-makers and the political agenda.

About the job

We are in the midst of a number of major political agendas that affect the entire food industry – not least the continued implementation and follow-up on the green tripartite agreement. At the same time we follow the development in the local tripartite where municipalities, businesses and organizations must translate the green tripartite into concrete restructuring plans and projects.

In spring 2027 there will also be focus on the entry into force of the new nitrogen regulation, the work with future pig production and a new food policy strategy. As an intern you will have the opportunity to assist the work – including political follow-up, analysis, stakeholder management and communication. You will also support our work with navigating the new political landscape – nationally and in the EU – so the food industry remains strong and heard in political processes.

Your tasks

As an intern in Public Affairs you will be involved in many diverse tasks, e.g.

  • Research for political proposals, analyses and notes
  • Preparation of material for management, chairmanship and PA consultants ahead of meetings with ministers, members of parliament, civil servants and companies
  • Notes and input to the political work in L&F and the Parliament
  • Contributions to planning and execution of political events and network meetings
  • Assist with day-to-day operations and ongoing ad hoc tasks in the department

About you

We imagine that you

  • Have an interest in politics and societal conditions – preferably with political acumen and flair for understanding the actors at Christiansborg and in the political landscape
  • Are thorough, structured and can work independently with your tasks
  • Are curious about how political agendas develop and realize in close cooperation with companies and organizations
  • Thrive in an environment with many diverse tasks and deadlines
  • Have good written skills and can communicate complex topics in a simple and easy-to-understand way

Your field of study is not decisive – perhaps you study political science, law, economics, rhetoric, international business and politics or something completely different. The most important is that you are motivated by political advocacy, the food industry and want to learn more about Public Affairs in practice.
