Interns for A. Enggaard's exciting construction project in Vridsløse | A. Enggaard A/S

Are you a student in training as a building constructor or building engineer and are you looking for an exciting internship for the spring semester 2027, where you can put your mark on neighborhood development in one of Denmark's most iconic prison sites? Then read on.

Over the coming years the former Vridsløselille State Prison – also known from the Olsen Gang films – will be transformed into a diverse, safe and cohesive neighborhood with a clear anchor in its history.

The neighborhood will be named Vridsløse, and with its central location near Albertslund S-train station – and about 15 km from Copenhagen City Centre – the neighborhood will host everything from entrepreneurship, business and cultural institutions, which will lie among the 1,500 newly built rental units for future residents.

As an intern at A. Enggaard you will be attached to construction field V10, where about 800 homes will be built distributed across 6 block buildings as well as 2 mobility houses with parking on about 9,500 m². This is the first construction field on the old prison grounds.

Here you can look forward to becoming part of a busy and dynamic daily life, where together with your colleagues you will work on the construction of the new apartments distributed over about 63,000 m² in Vridsløse's upcoming block development.

If the internship sounds like something for you, please do send us your application by email to construction manager Winnie Wiuf at
