Internship (communication) with Birgitte Vind and Camilla Fabricius at Christiansborg Palace in Spring 2027

Do you have a good sense for political communication? And are you passionate about conveying important messages to our society? If yes, then you might be the ideal candidate for our internship program with appreciation.

We are two seasoned Members of Parliament for the Social Democrats, Birgitte Vind and Camilla Fabricius, who together can offer an opportunity to work with modern political communication behind the walls of Christiansborg. We deal with a wide range of topics, from social initiatives and health, to equality and nature and animal welfare. We are looking for a sharp intern who has both professional and practical skills, as well as the courage to contribute in a collaborative setting, and who can work independently.

Employment terms

The internship program will be tailored to you and your educational profile with ongoing sparring along the way. For us it is important that during the internship you gain experiences and acquire practical skills that you would not get during a normal semester at the university.

It is a prerequisite that the internship can be credited towards a relevant higher education. There will be flexibility in connection with exams and assignment writing.

Your tasks

Your tasks may include

• Development of strategies for social media
• Social media posts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
• Photo and graphic production
• Video production and editing
• Building websites (including DNS administration)
• Strategy and development of internal and external communication (newsletters)
• Preparation and execution of both online and physical events
• Preparation of speeches, both online and physical for example May Day events, Constitution Day, Midsummer etc.
• Social coordination tasks related to volunteering.

About you

We imagine that you are in education focusing on social media, online communication, branding, or commerce, etc. That you have a curious approach to the work, are hardworking, dare to speak up and contribute ideas. It is not a requirement that you are loyal to the Social Democrats' core ideas and vision, or have membership/affiliation.

Networking and social cohesion

As an intern with us you become an integrated part of the Social Democratic team that on a daily basis helps shape the Denmark of the future. The relationships you build with us will form the framework of a professional network that you will be able to benefit from for the rest of your professional career.

As an intern you also automatically become a member of the Social Democrats' student and intern association “S-student association,” run voluntarily by the party's students and interns, which during the semester will host social events.
