Internship in Project Management

BILA Automation seeks you who are curious about project management, finance and have technical insight. You are ready to test your mettle with real projects in the Nordic region's largest automation house.

Come into the “engine room”

You will be part of a project team in one of our Market Units. Here you will have a daily life in close collaboration with an experienced project manager, where you actively become involved in everything from layout, budgets and schedules to contact with subcontractors and partners.

We believe that you learn the most by being involved. Therefore you will receive responsibility, sparring and the opportunity to try your skills in practice. Along the way you gain insight into BILA's stage-gate project model and experience how a project develops from the first ideas to the finished result. We are a project house, and therefore it is not certain that we can tell you in advance which project you will be sitting with.

When the internship is over, you have not only strengthened yourself as a project manager. You have also gained hands-on experience, a broad insight into BILA's business and a concrete understanding of how complex projects are created and driven. Knowledge that we hope you can carry with you into your project writing, where we can continue to spar and collaborate.

We expect you to have the following in your project portfolio

• Studying to become a Marine Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Business Developer or similar
• Is curious, proactive and ready to test your knowledge in practice
• Works well with others and builds good relationships
• Finds it exciting to combine economics, planning and technology
• Wants to learn and contribute to shared results
• Can work independently and take responsibility for your tasks
• Technical interest and/or hands-on background

All the practical stuff

We have the possibility to offer an internship at one of our offices in Jutland, where you will become part of an inspiring and development-oriented environment. We offer internships at the following locations (when applying please choose which locations you are interested in): Nykøbing Mors and Randers. Do you not live nearby? Fortunately there are good and affordable housing nearby, so you can easily find a place to stay during the internship.

The internship period typically lasts 10–12 weeks. Afterwards we hope, as stated, that you choose to write your subsequent project in collaboration with BILA.

Start date is agreed individually depending on your education. The internship is unpaid , but as an intern at BILA you get access to a good canteen scheme, coffee enough for even the longest project days, participation in social events, relevant equipment as well as the possibility of a subsidy for travel expenses.
