About the job
Do you want to help create safe environments, strong relationships and inspiring learning environments in the kindergarten?
Then you may be our new colleague in Isfuglen, a private 0-6 year institution in Glostrup Municipality.
We are looking for a committed and professionally curious pedagogue for our kindergarten, where we work purposefully to strengthen children's well-being, formation and development.
In the kindergarten we have as a starting point 40 children and in the nursery there are 26 children and all their wonderful parents, siblings and grandparents.
We have a good and close collaboration in Isfuglen, both in daily life and especially in the children's transition from nursery to kindergarten.
In the kindergarten our spaces have different functions and we have a large outdoor play area for outdoor life. We experience that the division of functions allows us to adapt activities to the children's age and development and that it strengthens both the small and the large community.
We have our own bus and one of your new colleagues is a driver. We drive to Vestskoven, where we have the Naturstyrelsen's old building that is adapted for an institution. Our driver is always with us, the four other pedagogues rotate to be with a group of children. Trygge Institutioners naturvejleder is employed at Æbleskoven; he runs programs with us for the benefit of the children, he also comes to Isfuglen and runs programs with both nursery and kindergarten children.
We place a high value on relational work and work purposefully to ensure that there are both professional and friendly frames and that our house presents as a nice and safe place to be. Parents are our partners in creating the good childhood. We base ourselves on each child's well-being and development, with a view to inclusive child communities.
In Isfuglen we have a core belief that children should grow up in an environment characterized by good mood, where they feel seen, heard and acknowledged and that each of them is meaningful by virtue of their own worth and an important part of the community.
The adults' role in the children's learning process is important; we have a positive and resource-oriented approach, and a mindset that the child does well if it can. When the child starts in the nursery, the focus is very much on the individual child and towards the SFO start the focus is more and more on being part of a group.
The pedagogical learning environment is visible to the children from morning to evening. We work with a starting point in our year wheel with themes that the activities take their starting point from.
We are looking for you who
- thrives in team collaboration and actively contributes to the collegial community
- can work structured and thrive with division of functions and clear boundaries
- is passionate about creating and maintaining strong relationships with both children, parents and colleagues
- works inclusively and sees diversity as a strength
- is proactive, reflective and can translate ideas into practice
- are you creative and full of ideas together with the children, so please mention it in your application
We offer
- Resourceful children and parents
- An age-divided kindergarten with inspiring learning environments and room for immersion
- Ongoing sparring, professional development and opportunity to influence our pedagogical direction
- An appreciative parent collaboration and an environment where everyone contributes to the good childhood
- We hold regular team and staff meetings to coordinate efforts and ensure a shared pedagogical direction, just as we have two annual pedagogical closing days
- A parent group that actively has chosen Isfuglen as their child's day care. This also means that the parents have expectations for their children's day at Isfuglen.
If you are inspired by the above and can see yourself in a strong and experienced team, we would very much like to meet you and hear more about you and of course show Isfuglen to you.
Isfuglen is part of the organization Trygge Institutioner. In "Trygge" staff well-being and professional development are highly valued, and we have several fun and exciting social and professional events throughout a calendar year.
Ring to us and arrange a visit at 71 99 16 03 and have an informal chat with us and a tour.
The position is 37 hours per week.
The employment is as a rule December 1, 2026; the application deadline is end of October 2026.
We have a collective agreement with BUPL/FOA/DI.
