IT Consultant, Business Solutions

Do you want to help develop digital solutions that support our international business? Do you thrive at the intersection of IT, business and users – and are you motivated by turning needs into concrete solutions?

You will become part of the Business Solutions team distributed across three countries, reporting to our Business Solutions Manager. We implement new strategic systems, ensure optimal use of existing solutions, support and develop our own production and tracking system, named NEMO, at 20 manufacturing locations in Europe and North America.

Your primary workplace is at Ulsnæs 33 in Gråsten, and the job also involves about 30 travel days per year and includes on-call support both during and outside normal working hours.

Responsibilities and tasks

Your primary tasks will be

• Second-level support for NEMO users
• Testing of new NEMO versions
• Preparation of user guides
• Optimization through automation and AI
• Specification and clarification of development tasks
• Leadership of and participation in projects related to business-strategic systems
• Training of users

Skills and personal profile

We envisage that you have an IT-related background, e.g., as an IT technician with a specialization in software development. Your profile is characterized by:

• Works analytically with problem solving and debugging
• Can act as a link between developers, IT and end users
• Has knowledge of software testing, and preferably test automation
• Communicates well in English, both written and spoken
• Works in a structured manner and pays attention to detail
• Is service-minded and thrives in collaboration with others

as well as it is an advantage if you have knowledge of

• SQL
• Azure DevOps
• Scrum/agile ways of working
• Test automation
