Become part of our operations team in Copenhagen

You will become part of our general operations team, which is being expanded in Copenhagen, and as mentioned you will be attached to a customer-specific team. Your tasks will therefore be centered around both implementation and subsequent operation of the customer-implemented IaaS and PaaS solutions.

We are experiencing strong demand and see huge potential in our implementation and operations team. Therefore we are in the process of a substantial expansion. You will spend your daily life at our office in Nordhavn and at selected customers, and you will also closely collaborate with your colleagues from Netics head office in Aalborg, as well as our office in Aarhus.

The job and you

We are looking for skilled infrastructure consultants who are passionate about implementing, operating and maintaining complex systems based on Linux and Windows platforms. We do not expect you to be an expert in Linux or Windows, but it is necessary that you have solid knowledge of both platforms and also preferably the interaction between them.

As an infrastructure consultant at Netic you will work with basic server and storage infrastructure, as well as virtualization using VMware and/or KVM. In addition, you will engage with or have exposure to other exciting technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible and HAProxy. Process-wise, the operations part of the work takes place within the ITIL framework.

As part of a customer-specific implementation and operations team, you will assist with technical sparring and knowledge for the customer, and you should expect that a majority of your work will be performed onsite at the customer.

Professionally you have experience with several of the following areas

• Build and administration of server and storage infrastructure, including VMware, including NSX.
• Basic knowledge of backup technologies and networks
• Administration and maintenance of Linux- and Windows-based systems and applications.
• Implementation and automation of operational tasks using relevant tools and scripting.
• Monitoring of systems to ensure high availability and performance.
• Troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues.
• Implementation of new solutions and technologies.
• Continuous improvement of infrastructure and processes.
• Working in accordance with central ITIL processes such as release-, incident-, change-, problem- and service management.

It is also advantageous if you

• Are able to collaborate closely with colleagues and customers, and you can communicate IT-related issues at eye level.
• Have a proactive approach to problem solving and optimization of systems.
• Have a relevant IT education or equivalent experience.
