IT Operations Specialist – Hobro, Denmark

We are looking for an IT Operations Specialist to join our team at Eurowind Energy's headquarters in Hobro. You will be part of a fast-paced team that genuinely enjoys the work – designing, running and troubleshooting the infrastructure that keeps the rest of the business moving, while having fun doing it.

Your Role

As our new IT Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and operating the IT infrastructure that our colleagues across Eurowind Energy rely on every day. Your tasks will include:

• Designing and operating our IT infrastructure, including servers, virtual machines and storage
• Administering and maintaining Windows and Linux systems
• Managing backup solutions and ensuring data is protected and recoverable
• Troubleshooting technical issues and handling incidents through to resolution
• Patch management and coordinating system updates and upgrades
• Capacity planning and performance tuning to keep our infrastructure running smoothly as we grow

Required Competencies & Skills

We imagine you have experience with

• Designing and operating server, virtualization and storage infrastructure
• Administering Windows and Linux systems
• Backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Troubleshooting and incident management
• Patch management, system updates and upgrades
• Capacity planning and performance tuning

As a person, you are structured and detail-oriented, take ownership of the tasks in front of you, and enjoy being part of a team that moves fast and doesn't lose its sense of humor along the way. You are a strong communicator, comfortable working both independently and closely with colleagues.

As this role involves access to critical infrastructure, a clean criminal record is required, and you must be eligible for security clearance.
