About the job

You will become part of a project organization that develops both projects and project managers

As an IT Project Manager in IT PMO & Delivery you will be part of Evida's central IT project organization. Here you will be responsible for IT projects that support Evida's strategic development, Denmark's critical supply infrastructure and the green transition.

We see project management as a professional leadership discipline. Therefore we continuously develop our project models, governance and ways of working – and invest at least as much in the people who bring them into play every day.

We operate a broad portfolio of IT projects where prioritization, transparency and strong governance are essential for our success.

We have ambitions to be the most professional IT project organization. Therefore we are looking for an IT project manager who already has experience in running IT projects, but who at the same time is motivated to develop professionally and become even better at project management together with experienced colleagues.

Your primary workplace is our headquarters in Viborg, and the role requires that you have the possibility to be physically present here. We also offer flexibility with up to two days of home working per week.

Here you have the opportunity to make a difference

You will be responsible for IT projects from start to implementation and anchoring.

You may for example work on the implementation of new digital solutions, integrations between systems or projects driven by new business and regulatory needs.

The projects often cross business areas and involve both internal specialists and external suppliers. As a project manager it is you who creates structure and overview, brings the relevant people together around the project and ensures that decisions are made, and the project moves forward.

You are not alone with the task. You become part of a strong project manager team where you can spar with experienced colleagues and continuously develop your project management craft.

Among other things you will be responsible for

  • lead IT projects through their entire lifecycle
  • plan projects and ensure structure, progress and clear deliverables
  • prepare decision proposals and ensure a solid basis for decisions in steering committees
  • follow up on economics, quality, risks and dependencies
  • coordinate and create buy-in across business, IT and external partners
  • ensure good communication to the project's stakeholders
  • contribute to implementation, organizational anchoring and realization of the project's goals

How we work

We run projects according to clear project models and processes. At the same time we continuously develop and mature our way of working so that it follows Evida's development and the requirements from the outside world.

We deliberately invest in our project managers and the project professional community. Professional sparring, constructive feedback and knowledge sharing are a natural part of everyday life. It is completely natural to discuss a steering committee case with a colleague, get sparring on a decision proposal or share experiences from a project.

You therefore do not need to know everything from day one. Instead we expect you to have a solid foundation in project management, take responsibility for your projects and want to constantly improve your craft.

To succeed in the role we expect that you

  • have several years of experience in independently leading IT projects
  • have experience driving projects across different disciplines and stakeholders
  • can create structure, overview and momentum – even when there are many dependencies
  • communicate clearly and can translate complex issues into concrete decisions and actions
  • build trusting relationships across business, IT and external partners
  • take responsibility and see your projects through to the end
  • are curious, seek sparring and have ambitions to develop yourself as a project manager
  • both spoken and written fluency in Danish, as the corporate language at Evida is Danish

Furthermore it is an advantage if you

  • have a relevant higher education in IT, engineering, economics or similar
  • have a project management certification such as PRINCE2, IPMA or similar
  • have experience with implementation, integration or transformation projects
  • have worked with financial management, risk management and steering committees
  • have experience from a larger organization or with projects where multiple suppliers and disciplines must work together

The most important is not that you can tick all the boxes. We are looking for someone who already has real experience in IT project management and now wants to take the next step in an environment with a high level of project professionalism.

Why many choose to work with us

  • A strong project-professional community with high expertise, sparring and knowledge sharing.
  • Opportunity to develop as a project manager and work with different types of IT projects.
  • Opportunity to influence the development of our project models, governance and ways of working.
  • Your primary workplace will be our headquarters in Viborg, where we prioritise the professional and social community and the physical collaboration.
  • Flexible working conditions with the possibility of up to two days of remote work per week.
  • Good development opportunities, a strong collegial community and a world-class canteen.

With us you are not hired for just one project

You will become part of a project organization where new projects and development opportunities continuously arise.

If you already have experience with IT project management but still have ambitions to develop your project management craft, you will have the opportunity here to take responsibility and learn from some of the skilled and experienced project managers around you.

We would love to hear from you and we call in for interviews on an ongoing basis.
