About the job

As an IT security consultant, you will play a central role at the intersection of technology, risk, business, suppliers and legislation. You will help improve the bank's digital resilience and create an overview of the risks that can arise in systems, processes, agreements and dependencies.

We are looking for someone who can combine curiosity with structure. You can both dive into the details and keep an eye on the big picture, and you are motivated by making IT security concrete, understandable and usable – also for colleagues who do not work in the area on a daily basis.

You will, among other things, be involved in the following work

• create an overview of risks in systems, supplier collaborations and security conditions – and translate them into concrete actions
• follow up with IT suppliers to ensure that requirements, documentation, controls and agreed measures are aligned in practice
• contribute to testing of systems, controls, disaster recovery plans and security measures, so we have confidence that they work when it matters
• develop and maintain compliance materials, reports, policies and procedures that are clear, usable and operational
• follow up on observations, audit points, vulnerabilities and improvement actions – and contribute to ensuring they are addressed in a timely and effective manner.

Your workplace will be at Sofiendalsvej in Aalborg, where you will share an office with the rest of the IT security team and the broader IT organization consisting of more than 50 specialists.

What you should know to do well in the role

It is important to us that you thrive in interaction with others. Especially because your work will cross the organization, and you will therefore have a broad touchpoint.

To be able to perform the role of handling our tasks, you should already have experience within IT security, IT risk management, compliance, vendor management or similar. If you also have an IT-related educational background, we view that positively.

In addition, we put emphasis on the following

• being able to move in the field between technology, business and regulatory requirements
• being good at asking questions, creating overview and following up until tasks are completed
• being able to prepare risk assessments, reports and decision material
• communicating clearly in writing and orally and making complex matters understandable
• being good at taking responsibility for your own tasks and being a guarantor of good quality.
