About the job

If you deliver excellent IT support and want to be an important part of ensuring that PCs, mobile devices, printers, IT systems and networks run smoothly at Regionshospitalet in Viborg, then we have the job for you.

Are you also flexible, service-minded and able to handle a frequently changing everyday life with an equal mix of planned, exciting, challenging, cross-functional, spontaneous, urgent, simple and chaotic tasks? If so, read on here if you are ready to seize the opportunity of a lifetime to become part of one of the country’s largest digitisation and IT departments in a dynamic Mobile Support team.

Second-line on-site support with close collaboration

As an IT supporter you will provide second-line "on-site" support in cooperation with our central Service Desk and colleagues from other groups in the Mobile Support team. We manage all our tasks via a shared ITSM system (ServiceNow).

The job as IT supporter consists of three overarching tasks

  • Setup of new equipment and lifecycle replacement of equipment
  • Preparing computers with the Software Center interface for SCCM.
  • Setting up new IT workstations, videoconferencing systems and printers, including registration in the CMDB.
  • Lifecycle replacement of old computers, displays and printers.
  • Support and operations tasks (incidents and requests)
  • Resolving faults on computers, displays, printers, mobile devices and tablets, Wifi access points, videoconferencing systems, welcome desks, call boards, etc.
  • Delivery of IT services related to the above.
  • Participation in IT projects
  • Deployment of new IT systems and technologies, e.g. Windows 11.
  • Major and minor relocation tasks where a department must move premises.
  • Supporting users in adopting new systems or after moves.

The everyday life that awaits you

You will become part of the Mobilsupport area, where we are about 40 employees. In collaboration with our Service Desk we solve cases for Region Midtjylland’s users at hospitals, headquarters and institutions.

There is a job that is both exciting and challenging, where no two days look the same. It requires that you are an independent IT supporter who can work in a structured way, maintain an overview, and keep a cool head when everything is moving fast – which happens often with us.

Therefore, to be considered, you must have at least an IT support education or a comparable technical education at bachelor level or higher.

We are looking for you if you have

  • Solid experience from a support organization.
  • Experience with deploying software from a central system to computers and mobile devices.
  • General knowledge of the Office suite, Windows OS, Active Directory (AD), networks (wired and wireless) and the TCP/IP protocol.
  • Knowledge or certification in ITIL as well as certification in Windows 10/11.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow, Android and iOS.

It is also an advantage if you have a driving license category B and preferably your own car, so you can also solve tasks at other locations and institutions as needed.

Collaborative, service-minded and professional

We help users across hospitals and units, so it is important that you thrive in broad collaboration interfaces and different professional competencies - both administrative and clinical. You meet people where they are, gain energy from user contact and take a professional pride in delivering competent and approachable support.

Are you interested?

If you have questions about the position, you are welcome to contact the area manager for Mobilsupport, Lars Axelsen, at 2475 0618.

Send your application no later than October 18. We expect to conduct interviews in week 43.

We look forward to welcoming you either on 1 December 2026 or 1 January 2027.

We place great emphasis on you in the application explaining why you are passionate about delivering good IT support to users, what motivates you to apply for a job exactly at Region Midtjylland, and that you back up your competencies with concrete examples. Please also show your relevant results in your CV so we can not only see what you have done but also see how well you have done it.

Flexible working life, ongoing development and good frameworks

You will experience that there is focus on you as an employee and as a person. We work with ongoing performance development conversations and regular 1:1 meetings with your immediate supervisor, so you always have a focus on your well-being and development. A good working life also means time for a life outside of work. Therefore, the hybrid and flexible working life is important to us; you have good opportunities to plan your own workday and you can work from home when tasks allow it.

As a new employee in our large organization we ensure a carefully planned onboarding process, where you participate in our internal academy, where you learn the whole organization better. We work to create the best framework so you can develop and strengthen your skills further.

The working week is 37 hours with a paid lunch break and good terms.
