ITK OS2 Communications Officer

About the Job

OS2 is seeking a maternity cover to take on the tasks as a communications officer. The purpose of the position is to support members, product communities and the secretariat with communication, so awareness of and use of open source in the public sector is spread.

The position is anchored in OS2, which is a voluntary association for public authorities focusing on IT solutions based on open source. The OS2 secretariat is a small team where people help each other in daily work.

As a communications officer, your primary tasks will be

• Plan and implement member communications via newsletters, website updates and communication packages for product communities.
• Document and convey experiences and results through case studies, articles and guides.
• Support the secretariat and board with the preparation of talking points, presentations and materials for, among other things, general meetings and seminars.
• Contribute to OS2’s visibility nationally and internationally, including coordinating participation at conferences and trade fairs as well as activity on LinkedIn.

Your profile

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications

• Professional: Competencies within communication (text, social media, video and branding) as well as the ability to translate complex topics into easily understandable communication. Basic graphical and presentation skills are an advantage.
• Personal: You are systematic, structured and can prioritise between tasks. You are autonomous in your work and inspire trust in collaboration with members and partners.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and terms of employment are determined in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between Local Government Denmark and the negotiating organization. Employment from 23 November 2026.

The position is a maternity leave temporary position.
