About the job

Do you want to help create new opportunities for people on the road back to the labor market?

At JobRanders we believe that all people have resources that can be put to use. We work every day to support citizens in taking steps toward work, self-sufficiency and participation in society, even when the path there can be challenging.

We are looking for an engaged job consultant for a maternity cover for 37 hours per week for Job & Development in the Center for Job & Competencies.

You will become part of a workplace with high professionalism, strong relationships and a shared ambition to make a real difference for the citizens we collaborate with. Together we create development through a targeted, business-oriented and coordinated effort, where the citizen's resources and opportunities are central.

About the job

As a job consultant you will be an important partner in the citizens' path back toward the labor market. You will have the opportunity to work closely with people who need to take the next steps toward employment.

You will become part of a smaller team where we lift tasks in unison. We share knowledge, brainstorm with each other and find solutions together. There is room here for both professional reflections, new ideas and different perspectives.

You will primarily work with citizens who receive sickness benefit or resource grant, and who are further from the labor market.

Your main tasks

You will among other things

  • Conduct conversations focusing on resources, motivation and progression.
  • Plan and coordinate job-oriented courses and activities.
  • Motivate and support citizens in their development toward employment.
  • Create and maintain collaborations with companies.
  • Contribute actively to the team’s shared task-solving and professional development.
  • Possibly group instruction.

Our approach

We meet the citizens with curiosity, respect and a fundamental belief that development is possible.

Our work is built on

  • Focus on jobs, work communities and ordinary paid hours.
  • Belief in the citizen's resources and potential.
  • Small concrete steps that create lasting results.
  • Close collaboration with companies and caseworkers.
  • Interdisciplinary solutions and shared responsibility for the citizens’ journeys.

We are looking for you if

You are motivated by working with people and you see opportunities rather than limitations.

In addition, we imagine that you

  • Have a relevant educational background, e.g. as a social worker, social mediator or similar.
  • Have experience from the employment sector or a related authority or guidance field.
  • Can create motivation, direction and momentum in collaboration with the citizens.
  • Work structured, purposeful and results-oriented.
  • Thrive with shared responsibility and close collegial collaboration.
  • Communicate clearly and appreciatively.
  • Keep an overview in a daily life with many different tasks.

Why you should choose us

With us you get

  • A meaningful job where you make a concrete difference for people.
  • Skilled and engaged colleagues who help each other and share knowledge.
  • High professional standards and good opportunities for sparring.
  • Great influence on task solving.
  • A workplace characterized by trust, engagement and collaboration.
  • Opportunity to contribute to creating results for both citizens and companies.

About Job & Development

Job- & Development is organizationally placed under Flexible Jobs and is aimed at citizens on sickness benefits or resource grant who need support to move closer to the labor market.

Many of the citizens have complex challenges of physical, mental and/or social nature. Therefore we work holistically with a focus on developing work capacity, strengthening resources and creating concrete opportunities for participation in the labor market.

Company internships are a central part of the effort. Here the citizens have the opportunity to try out their resources in real work environments, while we follow closely and ensure that the progression develops in the right direction.

In addition we offer various coping programs including anxiety management and stress- and pain-management, so that the citizens have the best prerequisites for success.
