Preventive Maintenance Manager for advanced production facility

About the job

As Preventive Maintenance Manager at Hartmann Packaging A/S you will play a crucial role in the continued development of Preventive Maintenance. Your task is to strengthen the operation by creating a "safety first" culture supported by structure and clear priorities and drive the development toward more planned and proactive maintenance. At the same time you must ensure that the employees have the right frameworks and competencies to perform the tasks safely, with high quality and efficiently.

In the company's strategic plan, moving from reactive firefighting to a state-of-the-art preventive maintenance based on data such as operating hours, failure frequencies, etc., is essential, so it is a cultural and competence as well as technical journey you will join.

You will have personnel responsibility for a larger group of technical employees and apprentices with both mechanical and electrical backgrounds, and you will work closely with production and other technical functions.

Your primary tasks and areas of responsibility will include

• development of Preventive Maintenance with a focus on structure, planning and continuous improvements
• set direction and develop the employees with a focus on professionalism, LEAN, safety and well-being
• planning and prioritization of maintenance tasks and planned stops based on downtime analyses, OEE, spare parts consumption and other in close collaboration with production
• follow-up on faults and operational problems and implementation of improvements
• overall responsibility for spare parts, materials and adherence to budgets for planned maintenance tasks
• development and implementation of a new CMMS system and increased use of data for planning, follow-up and improvements. Here, documentation for maintenance plans will largely have to be built from the ground up, so this is a good opportunity to influence structure and formats.

Your professional and personal qualifications

We are looking for a technically strong leader with solid experience in preventive and planned maintenance from an industrial manufacturing company. You preferably have a mechanical engineer or equivalent technical background.

It is important that you can both set direction and translate plans into concrete actions. You have experience implementing changes in a technical organization and can create structure, engagement and buy-in around new ways of working.

We emphasize that you

• have solid experience with modern preventive and planned maintenance from an industrial manufacturing company
• have a strong focus on performance of both own resources and factory equipment and be familiar with OEE measurements, downtime analyses, etc.
• have experience with people management and development of technical staff
• have experience with TPM or equivalent LEAN maintenance principles as well as CMMS systems
• have experience with LEAN change management and translating improvements into practice using Kaizen events and advanced data analyses
• have financial understanding and are used to following up on costs, investments and budgets
• work in a structured way, make decisions and see initiatives through
• are a clear and presence-based leader who creates engagement around the direction set.
