Robinson Packaging seeks maintenance technician

We are now looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician.

You will report to the maintenance manager.

Responsibilities

Your task will be to ensure stable and efficient operation of our production machines and associated systems through maintenance, fault finding and continuous improvements. The goal is to minimize unplanned downtime and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.

Maintenance and fault finding

• Perform planned and urgent maintenance on production machines and auxiliary systems
• Diagnose and fix faults in mechanical, electrical and control systems
• Identify root causes of faults and implement long-term solutions
• Document all maintenance activities in accordance with the company’s standards

Preventive maintenance and optimization

• Carry out preventive maintenance plans via PM systems (e.g. PM5)
• Monitor machine performance and propose improvements to reduce downtime
• Assist in commissioning and upgrades of equipment and automation systems

Safety and compliance

• Ensure that all safety systems (emergency stop, interlocks) function and are compliant
• Follow LOTO procedures and maintain a safe working environment

Who are you?

We are looking for a person with experience in PLCs, sensors, actuators and automated systems and the ability to read technical drawings and manuals. We expect you to be educated as e.g. automation technician, industrial technician or have a comparable technical background.

You have a structured and proactive approach to tasks, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as good communication and collaboration abilities.

You can also communicate both in writing and verbally in Danish, and speak and understand English.

Robinson Packaging Denmark produces blow-m molded plastic packaging and has a very wide product range, from 10 ml up to 10 liters. Robinson Packaging Denmark also has its own mold workshop and 3D printer, enabling a highly qualified and rapid dialogue about development of new designs and molds.

The company was formerly Schela Plast, but was in September 2020 sold to Robinson Packaging, a family-owned business. Schela Plast has 50 years of experience in producing blow-molded plastic bottles and has experienced significant growth in recent years. The company is located near Brørup and employs about 50 people.
