Junior Finance Controller

We plan to grow significantly and expand the scope of financial management and reporting. Therefore we are looking for a Junior Finance Controller for our office in Fredensborg. You will get an educational job where you will acquire- or expand your already existing hands-on experience across the spectrum from proper recording to controls as well as internal and external reporting.

Be part of shaping our financial overview

As a Junior Finance Controller you will help ensure that our reporting, both internal to the board and parent company, and externally in connection with annual reporting, is timely and accurate.

You will be part of TF-Technologies’ finance department consisting of 3 people. The department is in an exciting process characterized by higher reporting requirements from our European parent company, and has, among other things, undergone a recent ERP system switch, which is why we have a strong focus on data capture and optimization of accounting-related processes.

Your role will be to be the primary hands-on competence with regard to ongoing bookkeeping and control tasks, as well as month-end tasks.

You will report to the company's FP&A Controller/Accounting Lead with whom you will also work closely.

Your core tasks will be

• Perform certain daily bookkeeping tasks.
• Maintain fixed asset register.
• Monitor and follow up on receivables as well as intercompany balances.
• Assist other departments with financial data.
• Participate in accounting month-end closing and reporting.
• Participate in the preparation of audit materials in connection with annual audits.

In addition to the core tasks, there may be opportunities to help optimize and quality assure the accounting-related processes, just as the implementation of new processes and ERP modules may come into play.

The position can be full-time 37 hours/week or part-time (min. 28 hours/week) depending on your preference.

A versatile role with close contact to the business

This is a position with a broad scope of tasks. As we are a small company, with all departments under the same roof, there will be good interaction with the other departments. Thus you will have a good opportunity for a steep learning curve within business, data, and process understanding.

Qualifications

You have a relevant education in accounting or financial management; e.g., HA, HD(R), Cand.merc. or similar. Alternatively you have another theoretical or practical background that provides a good foundation for performing the core tasks.

In addition we expect that you

• Have a good sense for processes and data capture.
• Are analytically oriented.
• Are an experienced user of the Microsoft Office suite. Especially Excel!

We use SAP as the ERP system. Prior experience with this is not a requirement.
