About Health Law
As a student you will be part of the Health Law unit, which consists of two sections: the Section for Legislation, Development and Policy and the Organizational Section.
Health Law consists of a total of 19 employees and has a broad range of tasks. We are, among other things, responsible for the legal quality in our supervision of treatment facilities and the inspection of blood banks and tissue centers. We make decisions on injunctions and other sanctions.
Your everyday life with us
You will become part of the Section for Legislation, Development and Policy, which legally supports the agency's work within, among other things, tissue legislation and the Act on Assisted Reproduction. The section also participates in the agency's supervision of the marketing of health services and handles requests for access to documents under the Public Administration Act for the entire agency.
The section is staffed with seven lawyers and three student assistants, and you will become part of a professionally strong environment where there are good opportunities for sparring and for developing your legal skills.
We offer a study-relevant job with professional challenges, responsibility and the opportunity to gain practical experience with legal case handling.
We are an ambitious development unit with both experienced and newly qualified lawyers who are passionate about making a difference in supporting a safe health care system. We emphasize good collaboration, high professionalism and a day-to-day life where there is room for questions, sparring and development.
Your tasks and responsibilities will vary depending on your experience and qualifications, and you will have a broad contact surface both to your legal colleagues in Health Law, but also to colleagues with other professional backgrounds as well as external stakeholders.
Your primary tasks will be
- Case processing of requests for access to documents under the Public Administration Act.
- Administrative tasks, including case creation and filing.
- Opportunity to contribute to other legal tasks depending on your interests, experience and qualifications.
Your education, experience and personal qualifications
You are well on your way in your studies, e.g. cand.jur., cand.soc.jur. or cand.merc.jur., and have at least passed the 4th semester. You are detail-oriented, interested in administrative law and have a strong analytical sense. In addition, you are ambitious, responsible and show great commitment to your work.
We also place emphasis on
- You have a high level of expertise with solid theoretical knowledge of public law in a broad sense.
- You have strong written and oral communication skills and can express yourself clearly and simply.
- You are motivated to find solutions to complex legal issues while keeping an overview of your tasks.
- You take responsibility and are efficient without compromising on quality.
- You show team spirit and have good collaborative skills across professional groups.
We offer
An exciting workday with varied and meaningful tasks. You will become part of a strong legal community and at the same time an inspiring interdisciplinary environment where, together with skilled and engaged colleagues, you solve important societal tasks. Our working environment is informal, dynamic and places great emphasis on the social cohesion of the unit.
We also prioritize collaboration on the green transition.
You will be covered by a free coffee and fruit scheme, good training facilities, and we have a good canteen and a beautiful location. In addition, we have an active staff association and an art association together with the Medicines Agency and the Health Authority.
