Then perhaps you are the one we are looking for at Børnehuset Mælkebøtten.

In Mælkebøtten we are seeking a kitchen assistant for 22–25 hours per week in the time window 7.30–12.30 . We are flexible regarding how the working hours are arranged.

We are looking to start as soon as possible, because our current kitchen assistant has been given the opportunity to continue at Mælkebøtten – this time as an educator. Of course we are very happy about that, but it means we now need you in the kitchen.

Our kitchen is located in the middle of the building in our common room. You will therefore be a visible part of daily life, where both children and parents will quickly get to know you.

You don’t need to be a chef or have a culinary education. We especially emphasise that you have experience with food and meals for children – preferably from a day care centre or similar. Familiarity with Fru Hansens Kælder is an advantage.

Your tasks

• Plan and prepare meals and snacks
• Receive goods, handle purchases and keep within the budget
• Ensure that the food meets the current recommendations for nutrition for children in day care
• Self-inspection and daily hygiene routines
• Dishwashing, light cleaning and preparation for the next day
• Maintain an overview of the kitchen's daily routines

We generally have lunch delivered from Fru Hansens Kælder , but there is also the possibility to shop for it yourself at Hørkram and cook the food from scratch.
