Karstensens Shipyard is looking for Plumbers for our Newbuild Department – help build the ships of the future

Are you a plumber and ready to try something a little different – and pretty cool? With us you get the chance to work with plumbing installations on brand-new ships, where technology, teamwork and craft play an important role.

Here at Karstensens Shipyard we currently have 20 ships on order for delivery over the next 2 years. Therefore we are now looking for skilled plumbers to strengthen our newbuild department. Our newbuildings are characterized by high quality and a high degree of customer-tailored solutions, created through commitment and cross-disciplinary cooperation between shipowners and employees.

Your tasks

In the role there are varied tasks and projects, where you will work on many different newbuild vessels – but in general there are tasks within:

• Installation and commissioning of hydronic central heating
• Installation and commissioning of vacuum and toilet systems
• Installation and commissioning of cold and hot water systems
