KH OneStop A/S is seeking a department manager for a trailer workshop in Taulov

Do you want to lead our busy well-run trailer workshop in Taulov? We are looking for a visible leader who can ensure structure and progress in daily operations without compromising on quality and delivery time. You are passionate about strong collegial camaraderie and understand how to motivate your team. At the same time you possess strong business acumen, which ensures optimal operations, sharp purchasing, and healthy customer relationships in one of Denmark's central traffic hubs.

About the position

As department head you will have daily responsibility for a well-functioning workshop with about 15 skilled and engaged employees. We are currently experiencing a healthy and increasing customer flow, and your task will be to maintain an overview and ensure continued progress.

Our mechanics work according to a flexible 4- or 5-day workweek and solve tasks with a high degree of independence. Although everyone takes responsibility for their own tasks, we have a strong team spirit where we always help each other to reach the goal.

You report in daily to the Regional Manager East Jutland, Thomas Svenson.

The workshop delivers a wide range of high-quality services that you will coordinate and lead:

• Inspection and readiness: standard trailer inspection, periodic inspection, and TIR inspection.
• Mechanical work: undercarriage service and statutory inspection on lifts.
• Technology and troubleshooting: diagnosis via WABCO/Knorr-Bremse programs as well as installation and troubleshooting of GPS trackers.
• Repair of trailer damages.

Your primary areas of responsibility

• Planning and coordination of the workshop's daily tasks.
• Motivating and developing the staff.
• Handling customer contact before, during and after task completion.
• Preparation of offers and management of orders through the entire process.
• Optimization of workflows and ensuring optimal use of resources.
• Invoicing of orders

Your profile

You have a strong overview and natural leadership skills. You thrive in a role where management, customer contact and practical coordination go hand in hand. You contribute to a positive atmosphere and ensure high quality in daily work.

• Experience from a similar position with managerial responsibility in a workshop or the transport sector.
• Solid technical insight and interest in the area.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• A service-minded approach and the ability to stay calm in busy situations.
• Business understanding and motivation to contribute to our continued growth.
