Some days we pack our own bus and drive toward new adventures. Other days we start the electric bikes and zip toward Valby Park, or stay "at home" for exciting play environments inside as well as outside. Regardless of where we go or what we do, we always have the same important luggage: a high professional level. A focus on children's nervous systems, emotional regulation, participation, and an approach that our activities must always give the children a good and secure feeling in the tummy.

With us you won't just be a practical adult – you become a professional co-creator of good childhood life, where we systematically work in small groups to, among other things, ensure participation opportunities for all children.

Come and become part of our fantastic nursery team consisting of two rooms with the educators Stine, Bent, Janne, Line, Rebekka and our pedagogical assistant Biljana. A hallmark of your new colleagues is that we laugh a lot together. We support each other and through psychological safety you are always in a safe harbor when something is tricky or difficult. We have a good work environment, and a high level of professionalism which we continuously develop. You will be working permanently in the Ram room with fixed colleagues and fixed children.

The Børnehuset Cassiopeia is an integrated institution with respectively 2 infants rooms and 2 preschool rooms in the Planeten department. We love being outdoors and are often on trips. We also have a children’s kitchen and a large nice campfire site in the playground, where we often cook food over the fire. We are neighbors to a small stadium, where we use the lawns and/or indoor halls at least once a week. We go on a residential trip once a year with the upcoming school group and much more.

A good childhood life we define as a safe and fun everyday life filled with joy and well-being. This should permeate the everyday life in Cassiopeia as the foundation of the pedagogical work. We work according to activity plans and with the children in small groups. Working with the children in small groups gives more calm and capacity for the children, and more presence and immersion for the educator. For us, the quality of the relationship and the interaction between child and adults is the factor that has the greatest significance for the child's development.
