Right in the middle of Ribisgården lies our kitchen. Quite literally.

Here you can smell today's food, children stop by with dirt on their knees and something they've just found in the garden, parents say good morning over the kitchen table, and colleagues pop their heads in with an idea.

Now we are looking for a new chef or kitchen employee who wants to make the kitchen their own.

Our long-time chef has chosen to pursue new paths and leaves big shoes and many good traditions. We are not looking for someone to fill them.

We are looking for you who want to leave your own footprints.

In Ribisgården the kitchen is much more than a place where the food is prepared. Therefore we dream of a colleague who shares of themselves and their professional expertise, gets ideas and wants to test them. Someone who gets to know the children, greets the parents and becomes a natural part of the community with our 24 employees and not least our kitchen assistant, with whom you will share everyday kitchen life.

The open kitchen means that children can drop by to smell, taste and explore, and that you are often among the first to meet children and parents in the morning. Guests and partners also drop by, and we go to lengths to ensure that people who enter Ribisgården feel welcome.

Ribisgården is staffed for 35 toddlers and 60 preschool children , and nature plays a big role for us.

We sow, plant, dig and harvest, follow the seasons and actively use nature in the children's everyday life. We hope you feel encouraged to build a bridge between the garden, the fire and the kitchen, awaken the children's curiosity and courage with food and perhaps come up with something we have not yet thought of.

With us you have ample headroom and great freedom to have ambitions . You will have colleagues who are eager to embrace your ideas, and a year filled with traditions, parties, anniversaries and small ideas where the food helps create a little magic.

At the same time, everyday life must run smoothly. You must be able to take responsibility for age-appropriate meal plans, daily food production, purchasing and finances, self-check and hygiene, allergies and special dietary considerations, as well as the good organization of the kitchen.

We imagine you have a relevant kitchen professional background and can take independent responsibility for an institutional kitchen. Experience from daycare is an advantage, but it is not what decides whether you are the right person for us.

We are first and foremost looking for the right person.

A person with warmth, professionalism and a desire to be a visible part of Ribisgården – and to eventually put their own mark on the place.

Working hours: approx. 30–32 hours per week with the possibility of full-time
