About the job

Repost

Do you want to head a strong team where diversity and professionalism go hand in hand, and where the interaction between school and KKFO is a natural part of daily life? Then you are the one we are looking for as our new KKFO leader.

About the position

As KKFO leader you will have the overall responsibility for daily operation, development of the pedagogical work and for creating a positive and professional working environment together with skilled employees. You will be part of the school's management team and collaborate closely with the school's other leaders and staff to ensure the children's learning, well-being and formation.

Your main tasks will include

  • lead and develop the pedagogical practice in the KKFO with focus on children's learning, well-being and community – development both daily and long-term
  • you will become part of a fantastic management team, consisting of the school principal and three department heads – we work closely and share an office
  • ensure a clear and trustworthy leadership with clear goals and expectations
  • coordinate the daily operation in collaboration with staff and coordinators
  • take care of financial management and administrative tasks
  • work systematically to create inclusive and meaningful communities for all children
  • support the close collaboration between school and KKFO, so the children's day feels coherent
  • be a guarantee for a working environment characterized by openness, professionalism, humor and mutual respect

We are looking for you who

  • are clear, appreciative and trust-building in your leadership style – a leader people feel safe approaching
  • can balance operational tasks and development work
  • work in a structured way and follow up tasks to the end
  • have a flair for IT systems and administrative work – e.g. in relation to scheduling employees' working hours
  • can support a strong collaboration across school and KKFO for our skilled teams, professional groups and parents
  • are passionate about creating inclusive learning environments where all children feel they belong
  • are reflective, open to sparring and contribute to the ongoing development of both staff and organization
  • have humor and see the value in a working life with both seriousness and smiles
  • if you have no leadership experience it is perfectly fine with us, as long as you want to work with leadership

We offer

  • an exciting leadership position in a KKFO and school that prioritizes professionalism, community and well-being
  • a dedicated and ambitious staff group that works closely across
  • great opportunities for professional and personal development
  • good physical spaces with focus on movement and activity
  • a working environment characterized by humor, openness and trust

About Bellahøj School and the KKFO

Bellahøj School is a school where movement, motor skills and community play a central role in daily life. Our physical facilities provide unique opportunities to actively work with movement – both in teaching and in the KKFO. The KKFO consists of two departments with about 200 children, and we work closely with the school to create a safe, developmental and coherent everyday life for the children.

Our daily life is characterized by the values

  • community
  • professionalism
  • respect

We are located in an area with great diversity among the children, which we see as a strength. We work purposefully to create inclusive communities where all children feel they belong. Our slogan is therefore: “Diversity strengthens us – the community connects us!”

We have happy children from different backgrounds, an engaged parent group and a high level of ambition.
